LuMaDe Volleyball: Making a Positive Impact

At LuMaDe Volleyball, our mission is to create a positive influence in the lives of our players. We envision a space where players not only learn the game of volleyball at the highest level, but also develop essential lifelong character traits. Here’s what we’re all about:

• LuMaDe Volleyball aims to create a positive ripple effect beyond the court.

4. Origins and Expansion:

• The idea of LuMaDe began on an outdoor mulch volleyball court as a fun afterschool program.
• Founded by Coach Louann, LuMaDe strives to bring quality volleyball to Homestead.
• LuMaDe now includes:
• Volleyball Training Academy: A year-round program introducing grade school boys and girls to volleyball through practices, camps, and events (fall, spring, and summer).
• Volleyball Travel Club: A competitive traveling program for selected boys and girls based on tryouts, age groups, and commitment.
• Beach Volleyball: Beach offers several benefits for players, whether they primarily play indoors or on the sand. Beach volleyball helps with skill refinement, physical conditioning, mental toughness, and a diversified experience.
• Open Gym: Available to the community every week for recreational play.
